Revelation School of Dance has been running since September 2018. We offer a wide range of classes and cater for ages from 2 years up to senior citizens.
Our principal Jenny always had the dream to open a school where children can have the opportunity to train in lots of styles of dance within one dance family. As a child Jenny trained and competed in Ballroom & Latin-American to a high level, but also wanted to go on to train as a professional dancer which she later did at the prestigious Urdang Academy in London. Trying to juggle the weekly classes and training at different schools was tricky and having fallen in love with both Dancesport styles and Theatre Dance Jenny wanted RSD to be a school to offer everything. Having been lucky enough to have so many styles under her belt lead to amazing career opportunities and always gave Jenny that extra edge at auditions and castings. We want all of our dancers to have that same opportunity and offer multiple class discounts to help those wanting to try different styles the chance to do so a little more affordably. We also offer free trials for every class and encourage pupils to try as many classes as possible to make sure they find the class and style that they enjoy the most. Sibling discount is also offered to families with more than one child dancing with us.
Whether children want to work towards furthering their dance training with the goal of pursuing a career in dance, or want to come along for the pure fun and enjoyment of our classes each child receives the same encouragement and dedication form our teachers.
All of the teachers at Revelation School of Dance are fully qualified, insured and DBS Checked and there is a Paediatric First Aider in the room for all lessons at all times. Our younger years classes always have an adult assistant along with the lead teacher and often other younger assistants also.
Throughout the year we take part in lots of extra activities including Competitions, Exams, Shows and fun Party nights. Families are always encouraged to be a part of the school as without a supportive family the children wouldn’t have the opportunity to experience the gift of dance
